Loeschnig and Muriel Mandell. 300 pages of experiments!

Encarta Kids. A great interactive encyclopedia for the computer child.
"The Handy Answer Book for Kids (and Parents)" by Judy Galens and Nancy Pear. Great for
inquisitive children. Very useful for parents whose child spends his day asking “Why...?” and you
have run out of answers.
Nature
"Handbook of Nature Study" by Anna Botsford Comstock. Divided into lessons. Really useful
and complete for Nature curriculum.
"A Pocketful of Pinecones. Nature Study with the Gentle Art of Learning" by Karen Andreola.
Storytelling
"The Healing Heart ~Families" by Allison M. Cox and David H. Albert. Storytelling to encourage
caring and healthy families.
Art and Music Appreciation
"Drawing with Children" by Mona Brookes, a creative method for teaching children how to draw.
